# Talks and workshops for leaders and managers

## For you who are curious about going deeper in your leadership – beyond models and methods, with greater focus on you as a person and leader.

For leaders and managers

## Your leadership starts with you

The way you lead others is influenced by how you lead yourself. Your thoughts, feelings, needs and familiar reactions enter meetings, decisions and relationships with you, especially under pressure.

That is where we begin. Through Gentle Change’s foundation – understand, lead, change – we explore the self-leadership behind your leadership. This is not about traditional models for managing a team, but about understanding the person leading it.

Discuss your talk with me

A question to begin with

**Who are you under pressure?**

What happens inside you when you feel stressed, and how does it affect the way you meet others?

Understand · Lead · Change

## Three perspectives on your inner leadership

A clear central theme with space for your questions and real situations.

- Understand your reactions What triggers stress, uncertainty or frustration? We explore needs, thoughts, feelings and patterns to understand how they influence your actions as a leader.
- Lead yourself under pressure How can you pause, relate to strong thoughts and feelings, and choose a professional response? We discuss conscious choices, boundaries and responsibility for your part.
- Create change in everyday leadership What will you take into your next meeting or difficult conversation? Insights become useful when translated into concrete steps and reflected on in your working life.

From insight to personal reflection

## A talk – with the option of a workshop

A talk can stand alone. A workshop also gives participants time for exercises, reflection and individual work, connecting the content to their own experience.

The format can suit a leadership development day or an event where managers want to deepen their self-leadership. I adapt the content and scope to your needs, keeping inner leadership at the centre.

For leaders and managers who want to explore their own situation further, I also offer [individual online coaching](https://gentlechangebyelin.se/en/services/coaching/).

How it works

## From your enquiry to a clear arrangement

1. Describe the context Who will attend and why are you gathering?
2. Choose a focus with me We discuss your purpose, direction and what you want to make room for.
3. Agree on the delivery We review length, format, date, practical circumstances and price before booking.

Mention whether you would like time for questions or reflection. This helps us discuss how to use the available time. You do not need a finished brief to get in touch.

## Questions about talks for leaders

Answers to help you plan a talk or workshop for your leadership team.

### Who is the talk for?

The talk and workshop are for leaders and managers. The focus is your own self-leadership and how it shapes the way you lead others. A leadership development day is one possible setting. This is not a general employee programme.

### Can you adapt the talk to our leadership team?

Yes. The central theme is that your leadership starts with you, through understanding, leading and changing. I adapt examples, focus and scope to your needs. Tell me who will attend and which situations you would like to explore.

### How long is the talk?

We agree on length and scope according to your purpose. Tell me how much time you have and whether you want a workshop as well. We can then discuss a format with space for both content and reflection.

### What should an enquiry include?

Tell me which leaders or managers will attend, approximate numbers, preferred dates and what you want to explore. Include location or online format and available time. I will discuss content, practical arrangements and price before booking.

### What occasions can it suit?

Leadership development days or other occasions where managers gather to develop their leadership. We start with the individual: reactions, choices and self-leadership, and how these affect interactions with others.

### Can we add a workshop?

Yes. The talk can stand alone, and a workshop is a valuable addition. Exercises, reflection and individual work allow participants to connect the ideas to their own leadership. We agree on scope and focus together.

### Can we discuss online or in-person delivery?

Yes. Describe your preferred format and location in your enquiry. We agree on delivery and practical arrangements before booking. Individual coaching always takes place online.

### Is there support for leaders after the talk?

I also offer individual online coaching for leaders and managers. We can explore your situation, what you want to understand and how you want to act going forward. Coaching is booked separately; you can also continue the group’s work in your own organisation.
