Notice with curiosity
Self-awareness can begin by noticing what is already happening – without immediately trying to correct or judge it.

About me
Change that takes your whole self into account: your experiences, needs, circumstances and the life you actually live. Built on understanding rather than a demand to always succeed, with room to adjust along the way so it can last.

My name is Elin and I run Gentle Change By Elin. I work with personal development, self-leadership and change through individual coaching and online programs. I want to give you room to understand yourself better and find a direction that feels grounded in who you are.
My starting point is that lasting change begins with understanding. What do you need? How do you relate to yourself? Which experiences, thoughts and patterns influence what you do? From there, we can explore conscious choices and practical steps towards what matters to you.
I draw on perspectives from psychology, public health, behavioural science and neuroscience. CBT and ACT contribute ways to understand thoughts, feelings and behaviours, and to work with values, acceptance and mindful awareness. This knowledge is used within personal development and coaching.

For 17 years, I have worked with people in different parts of life: health, development, change and leadership. Thousands of encounters and many long client relationships have given me experience that no education alone could provide.
My understanding of change does not come only from my professional life. Life has also given me personal experiences of change, loss, transition and finding new paths when things did not turn out as I had imagined. This has given me a lived understanding of the difference between knowing how change works and standing in the middle of it myself.
Over the years, I have become increasingly curious about what actually makes change possible. Why we sometimes know exactly what we need yet struggle to do it. Why old patterns can be so difficult to break. And why more motivation, discipline or knowledge is not always what is missing.
This curiosity has led me to keep deepening my knowledge of CBT, ACT, developmental psychology, attachment, neurobiology and the psychology of change, among other areas. It has shaped how I work today.
Gentle Change is, in many ways, the result of that journey. A place where I bring together my experience, knowledge and belief that lasting change begins with understanding ourselves better, developing our ability to lead ourselves and creating change that works in the life we actually live.

I am a mother, a wife-to-be, a daughter, a sister, a best friend and a soul sister. I am a health educator, coach, speaker and business owner. I am many things to many people.
But among all those roles, I am also just Elin.
I love life. I dream big, feel deeply and love even more deeply. I need the people I love close by, and just as much, the moments when everything is quiet and nobody needs anything from me.
I feel best when life holds both movement and stillness. Training, the feeling of a body that carries me, dancing when the music is too good to stand still. But also the mat, the candles and the quiet. And nature: the sea, lakes, forest, a fire and, if possible, a night under the open sky. Something settles in me there. I can hear myself and my needs, and I am reminded of what really matters.
A large part of me loves creating beauty. I love when colours, shapes and feeling come together, whether in a post I create, our home, a room I change or an idea slowly taking form.
Perhaps all of that is really about the same thing: feeling close to myself and close to life.
As I grow older, living in a way that feels true to me becomes more important. Saying yes when it is a yes, and no when it is a no. Listening inward, leading myself with heart and soul, and daring to choose my own path even when it differs from others’ expectations or the picture of how life “should” look.
It has not always been easy. It still is not, every time. But today, I recognise myself sooner when I begin going the wrong way, and find my way back more easily.

What I explore
Self-awareness can begin by noticing what is already happening – without immediately trying to correct or judge it.
Self-leadership can mean creating space between habit and action, allowing more directions to become visible.
Lasting change needs to work on the days when motivation does not do all the work for us.
Clarity creates safety
I offer coaching and share content about personal development and self-help. It does not replace medical or psychological care. When this content is not the right kind of support, it is important to seek help from an appropriate licensed healthcare provider.
You do not need a finished plan to get in touch. Share what sparked your curiosity. You are warmly welcome to email or call me.
A few answers about me, the themes on this website and how to make first contact.
I’m Elin and I run Gentle Change By Elin. Here I bring together knowledge and reflections on self-awareness, self-leadership and lasting change. This page introduces the perspective behind the content and a route to the Create Change – Inside Out program.
My starting point in these texts is to make room for curiosity and conscious choices. For a specific collaboration, you are welcome to ask me about experience, approach and what suits your enquiry.
The thread running through this website is a gentler way to explore change: being curious about yourself, choosing more intentionally and allowing small steps to count. There is room for both your hopes and life as it unfolds.
For me, that shows in the questions: what do you need, what is possible and what do you want to try? Gentle does not mean everything must feel easy; it means your circumstances have a place.
A short introduction and what you are curious about is enough. For example: “I would like to know more about coaching around my priorities” or “I wonder whether Create Change – Inside Out is right for me.” Open my Instagram profile to get in touch.
You can also email hej@gentlechangebyelin.se directly or call +46 73 957 21 44. Share something brief and concrete rather than feeling you must explain everything. We can start with your question.
Start with the knowledge pages and the reflection prompts on the homepage. You can also visit My Instagram or read the program introduction. Bring along whichever question or thought stays with you.
Notice whether the way questions are phrased feels accessible to you. Appreciating a text can be a starting point, but any collaboration also needs clear information about arrangements, content and expectations.
Questions about what you need, what you want more room for and how a next step could become possible recur in the content. I connect them to self-awareness, self-leadership and everyday change, with space for both aspirations and practical circumstances.
For example, start with a situation where you want to choose more consciously. On the knowledge pages, I develop the perspectives separately, while the blog gives more room to a focused question.
I describe a gentle approach as exploring your situation with curiosity and allowing change to take your circumstances into account. There is room to be clear about a wish without demanding that you understand or change everything at once.
In practice, it can begin with an honest observation and a small choice. A step can also be adjusted when you learn something new. This is a direction for the content, not a named method or a guarantee of results.
You are welcome to ask about my focus, relevant experience, how an arrangement might work and the practical terms. Explain what matters to your decision so that the questions connect with what you actually need.
If particular expertise, qualifications, a working format or availability is essential to you, you are welcome to ask about it before booking. An informed decision deserves room in the first discussion.
